The story draws you in from the beginning as the reader craves learning more about the character in the crackling crisp suit and his OCC approach to his job at Krass Ambulance Service. Once you start reading you can't stop til the end. Bravo!
This very fun story captures the brief period between the wild west of US ambulance companies and the arrival of modern paramedics. I worked on an ambulance right at this time and for the company this story was apparently about. The author captures the crazy personalities and war story antics of these local legends. I remember them all so well--and I miss them. You will not be able to put this book down. Neuman develops the characters well and weaves them into a cool yarn. I wish there was a sequel!
