I have been a faithful reader of the posts on "No worries Paris" blogs and was very excited to see their compilation handbook. If you love Paris, I mean REALLY love all things about Paris, this is a must-read. This walking guide takes you to all areas and interests of Paris and includes beautiful, artistic photos and helpful maps. Some of the picture headings are obscured and hard to read, but this is a minor problem with the book.As a Francophile who has lived in Paris and has taken yearly trips since 2004, I have used many guidebooks. I can honestly say that this is one of the most useful guides for Parisian visitors!

Well written. This book has loads of information, past and present, to provide Paris visiters with wonderful walking tours.
My only complaint is the print is too darn small. It can't be because I need glasses. I am enjoying it very much, and it will be helpful for our upcoming trip
It shows very nice photos. The walking tours seemed very nice and interesting. The directions were spot-on. However, I would have preferred to have a pull-out map of the city.
I have been to Paris several times...and have taken the same walks more than once, but never with the help of the No Worries Paris book. Not only was it an enjoyable read and guide as we followed its suggested path...but best of all were the photos. ...almost like having a real live guide by your side. With photos to see you'll never miss the "important stuff". And for those of us who come back with fading memories, the book will keep them fresh with its stunning photos. We just got back from a wonderful trip to Paris and this book was such a valuable resource! The photos alone are worth the price. In fact, I have given this book to my 97 year old mother who has been to Paris many times in her life and she is loving wandering through the pages. With accessible,informative and funny narrative and very user friendly maps this book will definitely be a valuable resource for anyone who wants to get to know Paris more intimately. Plus, the book is the perfect size. Not so small that it is hard to read but not so large that you feel like a fool on the street. We have used the Trailblazer guide books for Hawaii as well and have never been steered wrong.
My husband and I loved this book! We spent 2 weeks in an apartment in Paris and were looking to explore areas that were off the beaten path. This book became our favorite! I have been to Paris numerous times and love exploring the city. This time we used No Worries Paris and it was no question our favorite to find out-of-the-way surprises along our daily walks. On one such walk my husband quipped that the author must be friends with Jillian Michaels (the workout maven) because we did so many stairs! We found many treasures along the way and when describing our trip to friends and family, they would comment that we should be "history teachers" because they were amazed at what we learned! I ended up losing the book on one of our last adventures, but the minute I got home I ordered another copy just to have for future adventures.
A dear friend of mine decided to a take the woman he is courting to Paris to celebrate their relationship. He put much effort into planning the adventure, surprising her with his invitation. Of course, Paris. Where else?
As a long time admirer of the 'Trailblazer' series - my favorite travel guide from the series is 'Alpine Trailblazer,' I bought 'No Worries Paris' for this smitten couple as a small gift. Before giving the book to my friend I spent some time perusing 'No Worries.' A couple of days later my friend received his gift.
Being familiar with Jerry Sprout's natural ability to use words to guide one through an unfamiliar landscape, I was struck by his knowledge of French history, including tidbits of history and cultural landmarks - including lore of Americans who have worked and lived in the City - during the descriptions of his ten Walking Tours.
And Janine Sprout's photography! Over 300 glorious color photographs fill the 175 pages of this easy-to-carry travel guide, beautiful photographs that add nuances that can not be articulated for the descriptions of the Walks.
I may go back to Paris sooner rather than later ... with my wife of 35 years. This book reminded me how special Paris is
